On 11 February 2026, Odeta Isevičiūtė spoke at DI efektyvumui 2026, the Verslo žinios conference on making AI pay off inside companies. Her talk: "From ChatGPT to AI agents: how to invest wisely in the future of your business".

The event

Verslo žinios, Lithuania's main business daily, runs DI efektyvumui as a one-day conference for business leaders and practitioners. The 2026 edition took place at Simbiocity in Vilnius, moderated by Darius Verseckas, with speakers from Swedbank, Nord Security, Telia, SEB, Girteka, Oxylabs and other companies sharing how they use AI today.

What we did there

Odeta gave a talk in Lithuanian, built around the AI Iceberg. It opened with three quick polls: hands up if you write prompts, if you have built an assistant, if you run an automation. The room's answers set the scene for the rest of the talk.

From there she walked through each level of the iceberg with working examples: a prompt formula, a Gemini Gem for brand images built in 10 minutes, a Make.com flow that takes a lead into the CRM and drafts an offer, and the cost of custom agentic systems (a pilot alone runs €30–50k).

Three takeaways from the talk

1. Tools come second while part of the team still ploughs by hand

The polls showed the same picture as every company ChangeAI works with: inside one organisation, some people already save 10 hours a week with AI and others have not started. The most advanced tool does little while half the team is still behind a plough. The first investment is getting everyone onto the tractor, and that needs neither a big budget nor an IT project.

2. Measure the time AI saves, or it melts away

A customer service lead at Kärcher built her own assistant from NotebookLM and a Gemini Gem. It saved her 10 hours in the first week and 20 in the second. Numbers like these only exist because someone wrote them down. Odeta's advice: record how long a task took before and after, from day one. Unmeasured time disappears into the week and nobody can say what AI changed.

3. Don't automate chaos

Automations come third on the iceberg for a reason. A broken process run by a robot breaks faster. Map the process first, fix it with the people who do the work, then automate. Her practical floor for every employee: at least two assistants of your own, built on the AI your company already pays for (Gemini or Copilot), and a shared group where colleagues swap what works.

Verslo žinios covered the talk afterwards in an interview with Odeta about why most organisations are stuck at the tip of the AI iceberg [2].

If you want to see where your own team sits on the iceberg, the AI Sprint starts with exactly that question.
