On 25 June 2025, Odeta Isevičiūtė spoke at 00AI meetup #7, hosted by Hostinger at its office in Kaunas. She told three founder stories from her Edge of Impact podcast and presented the first public version of her "From Problem to Possibility" framework.

The event

00AI is a recurring AI meetup in Kaunas for developers and people who build with AI. Edition #7 took place on 25 June 2025, from 18:00 to 21:00, at Hostinger's Kaunas office. Hostinger's team organised it, entry was free, and the evening ended with networking [3].

Four speakers were on the programme: Mantas Lukauskas (Nexos.ai), Tomas Rasymas (Hostinger), Odeta Isevičiūtė (ChangeAI) and a speaker from VDU.

What we did there

Odeta gave a talk in English. She opened with how fast AI disrupts itself: every major update from OpenAI, Google, Meta or Anthropic can make months of work at AI startups close to obsolete.

The middle of the talk was three stories from founders she interviewed on the Edge of Impact podcast:

  • Beewise built a robotic beehive. A vision model watches the bees, and when it spots trouble, such as bees coming back without pollen or signs of disease, a robotic arm brings food or medicine. According to co-founder Saar Safra, the model can pick out a single bee in a hive of 20,000.
  • Be My Eyes connects blind people with sighted volunteers over video calls. When OpenAI approached them, they launched Be My AI: users take a photo and get a description, then ask follow-up questions about it.
  • Livox started when Carlos built a communication app for his daughter Clara, who has cerebral palsy, so she could answer questions like "are you in pain?" and show where.

She ended by pointing out that developers and businesses speak different languages and rarely meet, and that ChangeAI works to build the bridge. She closed with two surveys, one for business owners and one for AI developers.

Three takeaways from the talk

1. Don't start with AI. Start with pain.

Every one of the three founders began with a human frustration. Carlos with his daughter. Hans with losing his sight. Saar with bees dying before beekeepers could get to them. Odeta's first question for any AI project: who is struggling, and where are people wasting time, losing dignity or missing out? Skip "what can ChatGPT do?" and ask which pain is being ignored or accepted as normal.

2. Is the current solution good enough or just familiar?

Hans could have built a call centre. Carlos could have waited for medical tools. Saar could have funded more research papers. Each of them questioned the default and asked what the problem would look like if it were easy: what if AI could answer instead of a human, what if a beehive could look after itself? Odeta's challenge to the room was to ask the same about the defaults in their own work.

3. Reduce friction without replacing their dignity

The third step is to design with AI for humans. Be My AI works because blind users can ask questions in their own language without calling a stranger, for example when they'd rather not have anyone see a messy kitchen. Livox works because it turns hours of guessing into an instant answer, tailored to one child's needs. Odeta's test for any AI feature: does it reduce friction for people without replacing their dignity?
